Skiing at Wilder Kaiser in Austria

I'd like to briefly mention the Wilder Kaiser region of Austria, where I had the opportunity to ski for two days last winter.

Located on the Austrian side of the Austrian border with Germany, this region is named after the Wilder Kaiser mountains. The area, which includes many towns (Brixen, Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll, Westendorf), has a 90-mile lift, a total of 250 km of pistes and is a paradise for skiers. With a single ski-pass, you can use all the lifts to slide all the tracks, which is a great comfort and not as expensive as thought, as I recall last year the one-day pass was 50 euros. There are many hotels, hostels or even rent-out houses in the nearby towns. The hotel we stayed in was very nice; http://www.alpenhof-brixen.com/dt-startseite.htm. We drove to the starting point of the tracks by car, took our ski passes and started skiing.

The difficulty ratings of the tracks are slightly higher than those in Turkey. I mean, i'd say this place is like a blue track. There are some lovely forest tracks. Austrians can make you nervous on the slopes because they're a natural skier, because they're skating pretty fast and attacking, and suddenly you can start from a skier who's passing by you.

You're also at a very high risk of getting lost in this big area. You're going to look at it from the map and decide to go that way and find yourself on a different track. We were very lucky in terms of weather, two days of daily blinds. The snow quality was also very good. There are also cafes on the tracks. I think the prices were reasonable and the food was good.
